Carlos and Deborah’s Tsunami Message
We send a rainbow of light, love and compassion to all our sisters and brothers who were so deeply affected. There are no words to convey the heaviness in our hearts for the people whose lives have been taken, changed or devastated by the tsunami.
We send our concern, prayers and sense of oneness to the people in areas suffering from the effects of this natural disaster.To help, our family has made a private donation to Doctors Without Borders’ Emergency Relief Fund so that they can spend the money where it is needed immediately.
Our Milagro Foundation is connecting OSAAB, the agency that supports Albanian babies, with the Child Care Trust in Sri Lanka (where we funded the building of their library).Together, they will continue assisting in the medium and long term assistance of displaced children in Sri Lanka. These organizations will provide vocational training, help for orphans and children, address women’s issues, education, and more.
The need in these South East Asian countries will continue for years. We will make great efforts to support and serve wherever we can.
