Supernatural Rhythm & Groove is a testament to percussion study and musical enjoyment. In this video, Karl Perazzo and Raul Rekow showcase their special chemistry of applying traditional Afro-Cuban percussion rhythms and blending them into today’s popular music. The video features five songs from Supernatural—re-recorded with new life, power, groove, and feel—and an all-star band assembled specifically for this session. Artists include Karl Perazzo, Raul Rekow, Benny Rietveld, and Tony Lindsay, along with Renato Neto and special guest Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez on drums. The DVD also includes an interview with Carlos.
Patterns and grooves from each of the songs are broken down into individual lessons, and all five songs are taught and performed in their entirety. Specially recorded groove vamps are included on an exclusive play-along CD that accompanies the VHS video, and is also included on the DVD. Carlos does not play on this video.
