Maria Maria La Cantina Restaurant Opens in Walnut Creek, CA
The all-new, contemporary pan-Mexican restaurant Maria Maria La Cantina – inspired by a collaboration between star chef Roberto Santibañez and legendary musician and Bay Area resident Carlos Santana – is now open in Walnut Creek. The first of what will be a series of authentic and fresh Mexican restaurants under the Maria Maria banner nationwide, the opening is one of the San Francisco area’s most anticipated culinary events this year.
At the visionary vanguard of contemporary Latin cuisine, award-winning chef Roberto Santibañez is a Mexico City native classically trained in Paris at the Cordon Bleu and other top culinary institutions.
