Proceeds From June / July Tour Have Been Officially Donated to ANSA!
On August 21st Carlos and Deborah went to Los Angeles, CA to hand deliver the proceeds from the June / July US Tour to ANSA. A check for $2,500,000 was donated by the Santana family to Artists for a New South Africa’s “Amandla AIDS Fund”. The money will be used for South African organizations working on the frontlines to combat HIV/AIDS. Carlos and Deborah presented the check along with these words:
Thank you for your vision and commitment to lead us all in serving the needs of our South African mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children.
It was through your organized efforts that we became enlightened and were able to offer our resources. To become conscious is the greatest gift an individual can give the world.
We offer this donation to ANSA with our hearts’ prayer to save lives and transform illness to wellness.
