The EP’s title track, “In Search of Mona Lisa” sets a different mood. Produced by Narada Michael Walden, the song features a hypnotic Bo Diddley-esque rhythm. Carlos lets loose with biting, wah-drenched call-and-response phrases with singer Cornell “CC” Carter before he takes flight on an impassioned extended guitar solo.
